Her work is character-driven, with a sharp eye for humour and emotional truth, exploring power, agency, belonging, and identity.
Nicole is currently in development on a sports-comedy feature film, her own original comedy series with Goalpost Pictures, and a new thriller series through the Co-Curious Story Lab. She is also writing an episode of a new series in development with Princess Pictures and the ABC, and co-developing a book adaptation with writer Blake Ayshford for production company Photoplay, alongside her own original projects.
Since 2025, she has been a writer and script editor on feature film, Catching Noonan, for Anjana Productions.
In 2023 and 2024 Nicole co-wrote 2 episodes of the series Four Years Later with Easy Tiger and SBS, and wrote one episode and co-wrote one episode of Swift Street with Magpie Pictures. Both series were released on SBS.
She has worked on TV series in development with major production companies including Fremantle Media, Blackfella, Easy Tiger and Bunya Productions.
In 2018 Nicole was the recipient of a Screen NSW script department attachment on Foxtel/Lingo’s Lambs of God and in 2021 she worked as a Script Coordinator on an HBO feature.
While completing her Graduate Diploma in Screenwriting in 2014, Nicole penned a short film called A Boy Called Su directed by Vedrana Musić, which won Best Coming of Age at HollyShorts Film Festival in the US and the Special Jury Award at Golden Panda Awards, Sichuan TV Festival in China. The short was also selected for the St. Kilda Film Festival, Flickerfest and many other international film festivals.
Nicole writes character-led comedy and drama and is interested in both original and adapted projects across genres.
Her work explores themes of identity, agency, power and privilege. She is passionate about reflecting minority and intersectional identities and writing both comedy and drama.
